Bryan Butler is a born and bred Midwesterner via Carthage, Missouri, home of Marlin Perkins and the Precious Moments Chapel. The son of Joe and Carolyn, he always showed interest in multitudinous artistic endeavors. Once, he won 2nd place in a statewide poster contest designed to promote childhood reading. No kidding.
Eventually he made his way to the University of Missouri where he began studying English. Once fully immersed in literary criticism, Bryan realized he was not cut out to comment on the Colonial-Feminist-Otherness of any of the Brontë sisters, and soon began exploring other options. Noticing the similarities in general critical theory behind literature and visual culture, Bryan thought Graphic Design would be a good fit and a better financial safety net. Plus, he had been playing with Mario Paint since he was nine, so he already knew the ropes. He graduated with both degrees and swiftly made plans to leave the city of his Alma Mater.
Now Bryan finds his home in Austin, Texas. He continues to make things for both you and me, and hopes to do so for a long time coming. If you happen to find him, he'll give you a polite, albeit startled, "Hello." Just tell him ONEFASTBUFFALO sent you, and he'll warm up.
