Copying other people can only get you so far.
In this case, it only got me second place in the 2007 OFB Halloween competition. I think the real mustache and scotch :) in this case at least got me in the top 3.
Branding Lesson. Be authentic. There can only be one original. Emulating other successful strategies is not the worst idea, but at least add something innovative to what people have already done.
