Earlier this year, the key OFB Brand Strategy members on the
Lincoln Property Company branding account traveled to Atlanta for the LPC marketing conference. We had just gotten off the plane and had a couple of hours until our presentation. Trekking across downtown
Atlanta and
Centennial Olympic Park, we were on the hunt for lunch.
Ahoy! exclaimed an OFB team member. She pointed, way across the park, at a buffalo. Emblazoned on the side of a building in the middle of Atlanta, we had to wonder if it was a hunger-induced mirage. In hindsight, it was more like a buffalo beckoning to fellow buffaloes. As we came closer, we saw that it was the logo of
Ted's Montana Grill, a place that quickly became an OFB favorite.
It's easy to see why we would love Ted's Montana Grill. From the western speakeasy feel and the landscape art on the wall, to the buffalo head above the bar and the unusual cardboard straws, we immediately liked the place. The bison chili cheese fries, bison burgers, and bison meatloaf really sealed the deal. We found out from our polite, friendly waiter that Ted's is one of the largest US restaurant companies to feature bison on its menu. He also explained to us that the cardboard straws was just one of the restaurant's eco-friendly initiatives. To read more about its commitment to the environment, click

With so many truly authentic and unique aspects, Ted's Montana Grill is a great brand as well as a great restaurant.
Now we're just waiting for one to open in Texas!
